Sew a Book, Bible, or iPad Cover – Sewing Workshop
Create something beautiful, practical, and completely your own in this hands-on sewing workshop. In this class, students will learn how to sew a custom fabric cover for a favorite book, Bible, journal, or iPad.
This project is both creative and functional, allowing you to personalize your cover while learning valuable sewing techniques that can be used for many future projects.
During this two-hour workshop, students will learn how to:
• Measure and size a cover to fit their item
• Sew clean edges and structured seams
• Create inside pockets or flaps to hold the cover securely
• Add simple decorative touches
By the end of class, you’ll leave with a finished custom cover designed to protect and personalize your book or device.
Students will also receive patterns and instructional handouts so the project can easily be recreated at home.
All materials and supplies are provided for the workshop. If you would like a perfectly fitted cover, you are welcome to bring the book, Bible, or tablet you plan to cover for sizing.
To ensure personalized instruction, class size is limited to just 6 students with one instructor guiding the group step-by-step.
